Valerian root has been used for centuries to treat insomnia and anxiety. It works by calming the nervous system, helping individuals fall and stay asleep naturally.


Valerian Sleepy-Time Tincture


Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp dried Valerian root

  • 1 cup vodka or brandy

  • Glass jar with lid


    Instructions:

  • Place Valerian root in a jar and cover with alcohol.

  • Seal and let sit in a cool, dark place for 4-6 weeks, shaking occasionally.

  • Strain and store in a dropper bottle. Take 10-15 drops before bed.
