Verdigris Market Garden began with a simple idea: to grow meaningful plants and transform them into preparations that support everyday well-being.

 

Our small, off-grid, urban herb and botanicals garden is where that work begins. Throughout the growing season we cultivate a diverse collection of herbs, flowers, and fruits that become the foundation for our bath, body, apothecary, and home preparations. Many of the botanicals used in our products are grown and harvested here, allowing us to work closely with the plants that shape our formulations.

 

Bees are also an important part of the garden. Their honey and wax find their way into a number of our preparations, connecting the rhythms of the hive to the craft of the apothecary.

 

Verdigris Market Garden is guided by Master Herbalist Kenneth Wright, whose work with plants has been shaped not only by formal herbal study but also by years of hands-on caregiving in healthcare. That experience—working both with the land and with people—continues to influence the thoughtful, practical approach behind each preparation we create.

Sustainability is also central to how we work. We favor packaging made from recycled materials and prioritize compostable, recyclable, and infinitely reusable options such as glass and metal whenever possible.
