Oregano – Nature’s Antibiotic

Oregano is much more than a pizza topping—it’s a powerful natural antibiotic. It contains carvacrol, a compound known for its antibacterial and antifungal properties. Oregano can also aid digestion and support gut health. You can use it fresh or dried in a variety of recipes, or make oregano oil for a concentrated health boost.


Recipe: Oregano & Garlic Infused Vinegar


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar

  • ¼ cup fresh oregano

  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed


    Instructions:

  • Combine all ingredients in a glass jar.

  • Seal and let sit for 1-2 weeks, shaking occasionally.

  • Strain and use as a flavorful dressing or health tonic.
