Arnica is widely used in topical treatments for bruises, sprains, and sore muscles. Its anti-inflammatory compounds help accelerate healing and reduce swelling. It should only be used externally, as ingesting it can be toxic.
Homemade Arnica Pain-Relief Balm
Ingredients:
½ cup coconut oil
2 tbsp dried arnica flowers
1 tbsp beeswax
5 drops lavender essential oil
Instructions:
Gently heat coconut oil and arnica flowers for 30 minutes, then strain.
Melt beeswax into the infused oil and add lavender essential oil.
Pour into a container and allow it to solidify before using on sore muscles.
